Outdoor activities at Edale Youth Hostel Edale YHA Activity Centre is part of the world wide Youth Hostel movement with the aim of "Encouraging all to greater knowledge love and understanding of the countryside". For a small membership fee anyone can stay at over 5000 hostels in 67 countries at economical prices. As well as providing accommodation and meals Edale YHA is a dedicated outdoor activity centre. Accommodation is in 28 bunk bedded rooms ranging in size from 2 to 12 beds. Each room has hot and cold water with shared showers and toilets close by. Three meals a day are served in the centres licensed dining room, packed lunches also available. Most diets can be catered for. |

The centre has three buildings with 2 lounges, 3 drying rooms, 2 workrooms, a games room, laundry and a small shop. Parking for cars and minibuses is on-site. Activities available include, climbing, caving, kayaking, canoeing, archery, orienteering, walking, mountain biking all levels from novice and for all ages upwards from 8 years on scheduled courses or holidays or tailored to your needs for groups of 10 or more (maxi 20) What ever your outdoor activities or accommodation needs ring, fax or email for further details.
