Rambler Country House Hotel is an attractive stone built Victorian Inn located in the heart of the Peak District, near the official start of the Pennine Way.

The management team offer their guests comfortable accommodation for up to 25 persons either in single, double or family rooms. Prices start at £20 pppn. We are open 365 days per year.



They also provide excellent home cooked meals served all day, and frequently feature local lamb and game on their specials board.

Open for breakfast to non-residents.

Widely known for their extensive selection of real ale, Edale's Rambler Country House Hotel was voted the Sheffield and District Branch of CAMRA pub of the month, and has been nominated for pub of the year.

Open to non-residents for meals from 12 noon to 9.30pm Mondays to Saturdays and 12 noon to 8.30pm on Sundays.

Open to non-residents for breakfast 9am to 10.30am daily.

Inside the bar there are four rooms, both smoking and non-smoking, all with real fires.



Situated in its own grounds, the Rambler Country House Hotel has a large adventure playground for children and panoramic outdoor seating nearby.
