Peak Painting Holidays

Residential and non-residential courses

Peak Painting is located at The Warren, Edale, an 18th century listed building set in the Derbyshire Peak District at the foot of the Pennine Way.

About Peak Painting

At Peak Painting the emphasis is on relaxation and enjoyment. Courses are suitable for students of all levels, including beginners. Groups are small, and we aim to help and encourage students to develop skills in the medium of their choice. Outdoor painting and sketching trips are an important part of the Peak Painting experience.

The light, airy studio is open until late for students' use. A comfortable sitting room and large private garden are always available to artists and non-painting partners.

The Warren

Residential weekend breaks run from Easter to October. Non-residential courses run throughout the year. For those who prefer self-catering, the Warren Cottage, adjoining Peak Painting, is available year-round on a daily or weekly basis and is ideal for small parties and families with non-painting members.

Peak Painting is run by Jenny Rodwell with the help of visiting tutors.
