A cosy stone cottage set in the most photographed and scenic part of the Peak District National Park. This delightful traditionally beamed collage is adjoining the owners small holding with extensive views across meadows, Kinder Scout, Mam Tor and the official start of the Pennine Way for the more serious walkers. This area is also ideally situated for family holidays with activities ranging from horse- riding, cycling, Castleton Caves and many more. Alton Towers and The Heights of Abraham are only a short car drive away. The owner's friendly sheep, hens, dogs and cats all offer their own entertainment value! This cottage, which is wheel chair friendly, is on one level and is centrally heated. Sorry no pets due to owner livestock and smoking is not permitted.
Weekly prices: £190 - £440. Heating and electricity inclusive. Short breaks available throughout the year. Bookings normally run from Saturday to Saturday. The cottage will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival. It would be greatly appreciated if you would ring the owners prior to your holiday to advise on the time of arrival. On the day of departure the owners would be grateful if you could vacate the cottage by 10am, in order to allow us to prepare the cottage in readiness the next guests.
