We provide a wide scope of equestrian activities.

Trekking and escorted rides

Following centuries old pack routes we can offer escorted rides for adults and children over 12 years over generally unspoilt countryside and moor land commanding fine views over Edale and The Hope Valley. We trek over Jaggers Clough to Winhill, via Backtor up to Mamtor or on full day treks through the scented pine forests to the beauty of the Derwent Valley.

Full day rides start from 10.00am Riding hats are available at the centre. Due to the terrain and the nature of the treks we are unable to cater for riders over 16 Stone.

Farm Rides

Allowing families and our younger riders a chance to take a behind the scenes look at a working farm. A leisurely stroll on horse back stopping at times to take in the views and wildlife winding down our lane and across fields to where our horses and ponies live .An interactive and friendly tour of the farm.

Lessons

We can cater for all ages and ability of riders from beginners through to advanced this is available all year round on our outdoor sand based ménage.

Through out the school holidays we offer own a pony days for 11 years and under and for the 12 to 16 years we offer a learn to compete two day course.

Pony Party
